english abstracts / 11 ibn anbari s principles and style in the book al-ensaf fi masael al-khelaf eisa motaghi zadeh * majid mohammadi ** abstract after combing arabic language with non arabic and expanding the issue of diction, linguists tried to preserve the quran language, consequently they decided to legislate some special rules for facilitating the teaching of arabic grammar. very soon, such issue of setting rules for arabic language led to complex grammar. meanwhile, it caused great differences in this case, so the aim of creating syntax was neglected. some experts in syntax decided to write some books on current differences. one of the most important and famous books in this regard is the book al-ensaf fi masael al-khelaf. the author of this book, inb anbari studied 121 issues on differences between two schools of al-kufah and basrah and tried a lot to follow some special rules in his book and also tried to justify the party who are not right. he did his best to follow the justice. but being on the side of basrah s people and confirming them caused some of researchers doubt in his justice and unbiasedness, although they neglected the value of such a book. the aim of this study is to examine the ibn anbari s method in writing the abovementioned book, based on analytical-descriptive method and the amount of justice and morality in his responses. he moves the syntax from being tiresome to being interesting and pleasant and devises special branches for each principles. we can see that his arguments for solving the issues in most cases are reliable. key words: ibn anbary, justice in syntactic issues, syntax principles, al-kufah and basrah schools. *associate professor, department of arabic language and literature, university of tehran. email: [email protected] ** phd student- arabic department-university of tehran.
